Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026.
This policy explains how Escudiva handles personal data collected through this website. It is written to meet Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
Who is responsible
Escudiva, operated by Fernando González (“Escudiva”, “we”), is responsible for your personal data. Address: [REGISTERED ADDRESS TO BE COMPLETED]. You can reach us at hola@escudiva.com.
What we collect
Only what you send us through the contact form:
- Your name and email address.
- Your message.
- Your site URL, if you choose to include it.
If you use the configurator, your selections stay in your browser until you click “Get your estimate”, which opens the contact page with your selected items in the page address (so they appear in our server logs). They reach us as a message only if you send the form.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not include passwords, access keys, or financial details in your message.
Why we use it
To answer your inquiry, to prepare a proposal or estimate if you ask for one, and to follow up on that conversation. We do not use it for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent it.
Who sees it
Your message is delivered by email to Escudiva’s own mailbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace. Google acts as our email provider and may process that mail on servers outside Mexico. Beyond that, we do not share your data with anyone unless a competent authority legally requires it.
If you book a call, the booking page belongs to Cal.com, which has its own privacy policy. We only receive the name, email, and time you give it.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. Like any web server, ours keeps ordinary technical logs (your IP address, the page requested, and the time) for security and fault diagnosis. To limit abuse, the contact form keeps the time of each recent submission next to its IP address in the server’s memory for up to 24 hours, then discards it. Technical logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
How long we keep it
We keep your message for as long as needed to respond and to follow up on any resulting work, and we delete it when you ask us to.
Your rights (ARCO)
You may access the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted (cancel), or object to its use. Email hola@escudiva.com with your name, what you are requesting, and the email address you used to write to us. We will reply within 20 days of receiving it. You may also withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the same address.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may file a complaint with the competent Mexican authority for personal data protection.
Security
Messages travel over an encrypted connection and are limited to a small number of people. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting data is our business, and we treat our own site accordingly. To report a vulnerability in this site, write to hola@escudiva.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
